Cornel West Just Quit His Presidential Campaign.

The presidential candidacy of Dr. Cornel West has already experienced more tumult than a half dozen typical campaigns, and the insanity continued this week with the announcement that West would no longer be seeking the Green Party’s presidential nomination, and will instead pursue an independent route. Not much explanation for the move was given except that West said he preferred to avoid the internal Green Party politics.
