Notice AI billionaires try to get acreage that is currently producing food, why don't they go to Detroit and buy the dead suburbs? Because they are parasites who cannot create their own infrastructure and drain the peoples resources for the 1%. They have the money to create power, they have tech to extract water from desert air down to 20% humidity, no they move into city suburbs, cause the price of everything to rise. There is some reason why they are making the choices to confront and force when Detroit would do anything they asked. No, someone is getting paid to vote against the public will and the voters will only take so much. AI makes nothing cheaper, NOTHING, despites claims that money will go away, abundance beyond belief, where is proof? All I hear for years and years is how great it is going to be, but instead it gets more expensive, more complicated, more obtuse to my questions.

I live near Festus, and literally thousands of people showed up to the meeting to object to the build, and they still passed it. It isnt a big town, only about 13000 people along the Mississippi, and literally no one wants it. I haven't heard a single person say they want a data center near them. There is no benefit to them whatsoever
