She also voted to confirmed the unqualified and unhinged RFK Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Collins also voted for the Big BullSh!t Bill which impacts Medicaid and Medicare. And AIPAC is one of the largest single sources of organized money in Collins' campaign filings. There's more, but you get the point that she don't care about the Mainers' welfare. The establishment is scared

No smear against Platner can be worse than what we already know. Graham Platner wanted to join the military ever since he was a young child. He sang the Marine Corps hymn at just 3 years old. [1] In a Reddit thread, he shared that he had been waiting for "his" war since he was 8 years old. [2] Platner told Politico he was worried he would not get to experience a war in his lifetime, but when 9/11 happened, he knew he would have his chance. [1] Platner's parents never wanted him to go to war. His father became a teacher to escape the draft for Vietnam. [1] They did not raise him to think war was valorous or exciting, these were Platner's own feelings. When Platner tried to join the military at 17 years old, his parents did not consent, and so he failed. [1] They sent him backpacking around Europe and North Africa, to try to give him a sense of adventure, in order to discourage him from enlisting. Platner shared on Reddit that as he was out backpacking, he did research to find the fastest, most efficient way to get himself into combat. He settled on joining the Marines. [2] His parents were devastated when he enlisted, reaffirming this decision did not align with his upbringing. [1] Soon enough he was sent to Iraq. His first deployment was to Fallujah, after the first battle had taken place. He would patrol outside Abu Ghraib, the infamous concentration camp. His job was to prevent Iraqis from liberating the camp. In an interview for the New Yorker, Platner said his first kill was a guy who was trying to liberate the camp. [3] He offered no contemplation on what it meant for his first kill to have been a person trying to liberate a torture camp. Platner was stationed there two years after news broke about the torture, so there's no way he was oblivious. Platner protested the war before it happened, but once he arrived in Iraq, his opinion changed entirely. He believed in the war, he thought it was a great thing, and viewed Iraq as a "guinea pig". [1] In his second deployment, he participated in the Battle of Ramadi, which saw intense fighting, many Iraqis, both civilians and combatants, were killed. Platner, as a machine gunner, certainly is complicit in this. [1] For his third deployment, he was kept on a ship and didn't see combat. During this deployment he got his totenkopf tattoo. [1] Afterwards, Platner went to college, but dropped out so he could return to war. [3] This was around 2010, during Obama's troop surge in Afghanistan. He went to Afghanistan with the Army. Platner then went back to college. He ended up drifting around, doing this and that, until the year 2018, when he decided to join Blackwater, and with them returned to Afghanistan. After getting out of the military, Platner would repeatedly affirm how much he enjoyed combat i.e. killing people. In his New Yorker interview, he said he loved combat and said it was like a high-stakes game. [3] In a Reddit thread from 2020, when asked why he joined the military, Platner said: [4] "Wanted to have an adventure and kill some people. Joined up in ‘04, did Fallujah and Ramadi, and managed both. Hell of an excellent experience." This was not 14 years ago, like Platner says. This was well into his supposed deconstruction of his imperialist brainwashing. In another Reddit thread from 2021, Platner said he would probably still be in the military if they allowed him to remain in combat: [5] "If I could have just stayed in a gun section, but had the opportunity to still gain “promotions” at least in relation to pay, I would likely still be in the Corps. If my fellow machinegunners were NCO’s, or at least an equivalent pay grade that allowed men to spend significantly longer periods in roles we currently allot to the kids, I can imagine a unit that has far less stupidity and far more professionalism." In an Instagram post by Graham Platner's step-brother, Seth Frantzman (IDF intelligence asset), there is a photo taken of Frantzman with Platner in Platner's home during August of 2023. In the background, on the fridge in the kitchen, you can see a Blackwater magnetic sticker. [6] Graham Platner has said repeatedly in interviews that he didn't know he was working for Blackwater at the time, he was working for Constellis, and it was a totally different company by the time he came to be working there. Well we know that was a lie. This was just three years ago. It's very clear that Platner has no regrets working as a paid killer for Blackwater, a notoriously evil mercenary company. Platner was fully aware of the human cost of war as well. When James Foley was beheaded in 2014, Platner participated in a Reddit thread, where people discussed the prospect of invading Syria. One commenter stated: [7] "Nobody can deny the ISIS has to stop, and no, I don't know for sure that war won't be for the best. Maybe you're right, and it would be. But we can't act like we don't know how these sentiments end. We can't pretend that we won't be killing innocents and children by the thousands this time. How many of us supported the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, compared to just months ago?" Platner's response to them was: "We are going to kill thousands. By the end of it, it may be millions. Our way of life is better, and if that is what it takes to prevail, let's get this show on the road. I don't disagree with your point, I just disagree with the fact you seem to think we shouldn't do it." It's very clear: Our way of life is better, our sentiments will lead to widespread collective suffering, which is a good thing, as it will further our superior ideology and way of life. Platner is openly accepting the potential deaths of MILLIONS of people. This is genocidal language. In a Reddit thread from 2010 which asked "What American wars would you have volunteered to fight in?", Platner said: [8] "The Indian Wars, the Phillipines, Haiti and Nicaragua in the 1920's, Vietnam, Nicaragua and El Salvador again in the 80's. As for would have, I "did" for Iraq and would love to get to the Ghan. Small wars are pretty enjoyable. It's the big ones, with days of artillery fire and inhuman brutality that take the fun out of fighting. But small wars (and Iraq and Afghanistan are indeed small wars) provide the rush of small combat actions along with the intellectual challenge of building personal relationships and infrastructure within the local community. Small wars are thinking wars, which I much prefer over the bloody slugfests of great power conventional warfare. Oh, and the revolution, because I'm Amuuurican." He would have loved to serve in the Indian Wars, which was the genocide of the Native Americans, as well as Vietnam, which was another genocide where 2-3 million Vietnamese people died. I'm sure we are all aware of the sorts of atrocities Americans committed during both of these "wars". So this was Platner's mentality when he was in the military, going around killing people. He believed his country was superior to the countries he was subjugating, and he took excitement in killing for the sake of American imperialism.
