How many times have we seen old IPs return even with the same creatives like Doctor Who, and they still turn out like garbage? You can't go home again! These franchises need to stay in the past. The further Star Wars and Star Trek's stock plummets, Stargate's rises by just not making anything in the modern era. There is no Last Jedi or Acolyte or Picard S1-S2 or Starfleet Academy of Stargate. I'd much prefer a franchise that just ended and died peacefully than a zombie husk that continues on but is a shell of what it actually was. Be thankful Stargate isn't coming back in this timeline.
