If USC doesn't make the playoffs. Lincoln needs to go. I'm not looking for a National Championship anytime soon but if we're not in a 12 team playoff something needs to change. Unless we're 13 and our defense made a significant jump but even still I don't want to be dragging Lincoln along like we dragged Helton cause he's doing just enough to justify another chance

As a bama fan, it’s a weird one. Yes obviously I want us to win a Natty, but I get it if we don’t this year. What I want more than anything is too see growth and consistency the whole season. No more hot 5 game start then we fall off like the last two seasons, no more up and down weekly performances, make the playoffs and don’t get blown out again. Maybe that’s just me but I have realistic expectations.

As an Alabama fan, I would 100% agree that we are under a ton of pressure this year. I was very staunch “Deboers seat isn’t hot” last year and year 1. I mean it was ridiculous to even bring it up dude just got there. But now we are year 3. His players are there. His culture is cemented. If he doesn’t at least make the playoffs, his seat will be scorching. But with all that being said Saban lost in the SECCG year 2 and won the natty in year 3 so Deboer is still on pace with Saban. Of course time will tell and I am 100% behind Deboer but this year is pivotal.

Its almost as if these 25M NIL budgets are not really buying trophies. Even though everyone thinks they are. Only one team will win still.

Josh, I think you meant undoubtedly not undoubtably in reference to USC

As a bama can I feel that we win the natty either this year or next year with all the players we have returning this year I feel we can win the natty this year
