Description

Prospective California gubernatorial candidate Elaine Culotti joins the show to sharply criticize the current state leadership and outline a bold platform focused on immigration reform, workforce housing, infrastructure improvements, and restoring vocational education. She talks to Jimmy about finding a legal pathway for undocumented workers already contributing to the economy, and calls for workforce-sponsored legalization programs. She also advocates for building long-delayed water reservoirs, implementing voter ID laws, and removing special interests blocking projects like high-speed rail. Her vision includes collaborating with figures like Bobby Kennedy Jr. to address issues like food security, farm policy, and healthcare reform. Hi. 4th generation Californian here. My maternal great- grandparents were Texas Germans who fled the Civil War. I left because Chardonnay moms ruined a once beautiful state with taxes and regulations designed to micromanage everything you do. Anarcho-tyranny made the place unlivable.

"Everybody wants to be in California." As a 3rd generation native, I can assure you madame that FAR from everyone wants to be there. I was exiled in 2004 by my job and getting out of there was the best thing to ever happen to me. Still a great place to visit, but NFW I'd ever want to live there again.

No, the problem with water for farmers in the San Joaquin valley is NOT that the infrastructure is old. The water is flowing, but they are not allowing the farmers to use it! Instead they are letting it flow into the ocean! It a political problem. Probably Big Ag want's to put the small farmers out of business so they can swoop in and buy all the farmland for their mega GMO farms.
