For those who don’t know, Dianna Rusinni was the one pushing anti-JJ McCarthy stuff all offseason, and the one who insisted that Aaron Rodgers was going to be a Viking. She is not close with decision makers in the organization, which is why she has consistently missed on the Vikings QB situation all year. She’s allowed to have her opinions on the Vikings’s decisions, but they are little more than speculation, not solid reporting.

I disagree with the not getting opportunities part on Sanders. He was better than Dillion in training camp and was a better prospect out of college. I’ll just use Purdy as an example. Sometimes you have to go against the grain of where someone was picked. He legit earned more reps in the off season. They just never gave it to him to keep the status quo. The coach told his staff this was going to be a “red shirt” year for Shedeur. They never intended on playing him this season. The QB competition back in training camp was a lie.

Listen to Jeffersons most recent press conference, McCarthy is making all of the throws in practice. He's just playing too fast in his first 5 games, which is completely normal. He just needs to bring the production from the practice field to the game field
