According to the New York Post, the homeowner's pregnant wife and 5-year-old son were home when the break-in happened. I cannot imagine the terror they must have felt, how afraid the homeowner must have been while rushing home. It is really a miracle that no one got hurt.

Knowing now the home owners wife was inside makes this so much worse. She was probably so scared.
