I was once a "flat earther." I decided to walk to the edge to prove the hypothesis, but in the end, I came around.
Can we have more episodes like this? A lot of fun!
Watching this while the sun is rising, greetings from arctic circle.
The best experiment I did was by accident when I was on a North-South flight. We were due to land just after sunset. At altitude, we were in full sunlight and since the ground was pretty dark, we thought there was some bad weather at our destination. But as we landed, we moved into the darkness. It's only on the ground that we discovered it was a beautiful warm night. It was one of the best shows I've seen in my life.
Where is the BEST place to skywatch and stargaze where you live?
Very fun to have a mental snack like this once in a while.
Over the past 10 years of doing this podcast Chuck Nice has slowly morphed into an absolute genius.
Please, please make the segment about jumping up for the sunset into a short video. So many people would benefit from a better understanding of physics. This video is an outstanding example of doing just it in a fun and easy way.
Nice to see Dave’s Antarctica video show up in this.
I would trade almost anything I have to sit in a room with these two gents
