Minnesotan here. I visited my Dad, a huge MAGA buff, the day after the shootings. He had the f*cking AUDACITY to claim that the killer's attacks weren't politically motivated because he was " a church goer whose mental was effected by a brain tumor." You know, the sort of thing that causes you to hammer out a hit list, accidentally impersonate a cop, and drive to the houses of multiple elected officials in the middle of the night.

It is genuinely terrifying that the people running our country have so little empathy that when one of their colleagues is murdered they immediately rush to say the assassin was on the other team, not even pretending to care about the loss of life, no thoughts and prayers just immediate lies to make themselves look better

Remember back when Trump said Zelensky was gambling with WW3 defending his people from Putin, and now he's fine with supporting Israel in starting it instead
