Joe Rogan Experience #2511 - Terry Bradshaw

When I was 7 I was dying in the hospital from what they thought was leukemia. I had 107 fever and was packed in ice and hallucinating. I told my Mom Terry Bradshaw came to visit me. My Mom said well he did and he left you this picture. My Mom handed me an autographed picture of Terry Bradshaw that said Chris, Get Well Soon, God is with you…Terry Bradshaw. A month in ICU later I came out weighing 29 pounds at 7, but I got better and I’ll always credit Terry Bradshaw for saving my life. My Mom wrote him a letter and he took the time to send me an autographed picture. He’ll probably never know what he did for me, but he saved my life. ❤

I used to do security and I was fortunate enough to be in charge of escorting Terry and his wife throughout the premises when he came to do a show where I worked. During one of the escorts, Terry asked if I lived nearby and asked if I saw many bears (where I live is quite rural). I said, “Oh yeah, I see them all the time when I go fishing.” Terry’s eyes lit up and he said, “you fish?! What do you fish for?!” I replied, “I fish mostly for walleye!” Terry said, “No way, me too!” So then we got to talking about our fishing techniques and what lures we used. Everyone always talks to him about football, so it was nice for him to have something else to have a meaningful conversation about. We were just dudes being bros. Terry is such a kind, down to earth gentleman!

Bradshaw is an absolute legend. Almost 80 with the energy of a 25 year old
