To be fair Powell has been saying the same thing for months. Nobody was surprised by 75 basis points in November.

Krystal was literally spouting fed establishment talking points and telling us it was transitory. Now, she is spouting establishment talking points on war.

I remember when they said that us owning nothing was a myth because inflation is super temporary

Funny how they fail to mention why we have such terrible inflation.

Does this guy not realize the Fed meetings happen at the same intervals all the time?

The Fed signaled they would be raising over 6 months earlier. The M2 money supply graph needs to be fixed, this is what the FED is trying to fix.

It’s almost like Ron Paul warned about before Krystal was born!

Take the FED rate hike, only focus on the negatives for one group of people, ignore all long term benefits for said people, ignore all other pros and cons for all other people. Great reporting guys. Doing your best CNN impression here. Love it.

The Bank of England also raised interest rates in the UK by 0.75%, just a few days ago. Was this to do with the midterms, too?

The fed was never independent of banks it literally is owned by the banks. It’s supposed to be independent of government then congress would have an even worse printing press of currency/debt. I still think Krystal has no idea fundamentally what the FED is
