I live in So Cal. If solar energy was promoted by allowing people to cheaply put it atop their roofs, or atop parking structures, it would be very helpful and economical. However, when they put the projects out in deserts, disrupt the ecosystem there and then charge us more for transporting the energy, it is not a good use of our dollars. All the the solar energy projects under Obama were quickly defunct, abandoned when the money ran out, and left for eyesores. Wind power is a total disaster! Many birds are killed and they are just swept up without being reported. And now on the east coast, the windfarms in the ocean are killing the whales as the horrible noisy sound from them interferes with the whales' ability to navigate. Absolutely terrible!
