As a guy with a healthy level of fear of the ocean, it's unreal to me how unaware people are of the many ways the ocean can and will kill you.
me being australian and listening to the aussie beach story and going 'oh noo' as soon as it mentions octopus.
As a lifeguard listening to story 4... "Is this an Australian thing? The lifeguard can just tell you to get out for a swim break?" -_- It's an everywhere thing.
“The dogs just wanted to play but a get a little rough” *facepalm throughout number 3*
"Mommy, there's a pack of wild dogs running towards us. They are the size of ponies and mainly muscle, are foaming at the mouth and have blood dripping from their 3 inch fangs." "Don't worry darling, just don't pet them too hard."
A good reminder that a wolf won’t eat a human or even attack them unless provoked, but a wild dog definitely will and they don’t discriminate.
The fact that some people go to the beach without educating themselves about rip currents is the real horror story.
Joel's Australian lifeguard accent was too adorable! Thanks for the smile!
Imagine going to Australia where it's international basic knowledge that they have plenty of dangerous wildlife. You just swim and ignore everyone getting out of the water after sirens going off multiple times.
As soon as they said, "Little octopus..." I knew what it was lol.
