I’m a grown ass man listening to two other grown ass men tell ghost stories around a campfire on Halloween. How did I get here?

Two seals telling ghost stories. Love this.
One night I decided to take a short cut to my dorm after one of my classes ran late. I was hungry and wanted to get my meal before the cafeteria closed up so I decided to walk through the unlit wooded area that was behind my dorm - must have walked 5 mins when I clearly heard a young man's voice very close to my ear "dont do it. Turn back now". I stopped and turned to see no one near me - I am not brave or curious- I turned back and sprinted back towards the main road and got the uni security to drop me to the dorm. They found someone killed in the woods the next morning btw. Still gives me the chills to think about this incident.
Are we gonna ignore the fact these two were navy seals and now chillin talking about horror stories in the woods? That’s badass 🤙🏽
Hangin by the campfire telling stories is a genetic memory we all have left from long ago. We need more of this.
Shawn you should really start doing some of your interviews by the campfire. That would be cool.
As someone who pretty much spent my entire childhood in the woods, if you know no one is supposed to be out there, but you hear and see evidence that someone is, you don't stay out there. Especially if you're alone and unarmed.
Can this become a frequent duo?? MrBallen telling Shawn the stories is an absolute banger in my book 💯🤙🏻
