People say "we can't trust Putin when he says he wants to talk" and accuse those in the West who want talks of being Neville Chamberlain. That's an argument for this war to never end. Maybe we could just try actually implementing the Minsk agreements and see what he does rather than assuming it's pointless to ever negotiate or honor an agreement.

It was hilarious how shocked Emily looked when Ryan said that he agrees with Putin that the collapse of the USSR was a tragedy 🤣

30 minute discussion and you ignored Putin’s critique of the use of the U.S. dollar as a tool of force. Take a peak at the trends in global U.S. denominated reserves.

28:00 I don't think that the collapse of the Soviet Union was a tragedy but I do think the way the United States behaved after the collapse was a tragedy. The end of the cold war was horribly mismanaged.

Whoah. Ryan just dropped a hot take. If the USSR was still together, the US would have been more calculated in its worldly actions and may not have committed so many mistakes in its quest to help the world.

Maybe someone should talk to the other people involved in the March 2022 negotiations to try and find out what actually happened.
