This looks a decade or two before it's time. A 2000s movie with modern effects
As a massive MH fan, I’m not mad it exists. I just don’t know how I’ll feel when the credits roll.
Why couldn't they have done a Monster hunter movie without dragging real world people in it? Just make it fantasy, no real world elements and craft a story around the actual game but with less of the grinding.

This is such a weird direction for a Monster Hunter movie. I mean.......soldiers from Earth teleported to the Monster Hunter world sounds more like some kind of fanfic than an actual movie.
Kong: Skull Island meets Mad Max: Fury Road meets every Resident Evil Movie ever made.
As soon as I saw those cars and the military and all that, I was put off immediately.
The "this is above my pay grade" guy sounded like a young Bill Paxton. Kinda looks like him too
They could have Vin Diesel be the voice actor for a talking tigrex " I am brute "
