I felt that moment you had to catch your breath before telling the rest of the story about your dog
Love a good chat between a Clovis father and his son.
Wish Jamie would offer these visuals BOLDLY on our screen ???
39:44 "Thanks for all the fish" is a reference to Douglass Adams' Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
I have been feeding ravens for years. They are starting to walk around on the ground and not running from me. They also seem to try to talk to me with weird raven noises. They like cat food, dog food, bread, and cheese crackers. Have fun.
This was fascinating. Such an underrated episode. Will definitely check the book out.
Wow this guy should have his own network I would watch him host documentaries on everything history and archeology
For about 5 years almost every evening I walked 1 to 4 miles with three or four dogs in sugarcane turn rows and thru a bottomland hardwood swamp. Almost every evening in the sugarcane we were accompanied by two or more coyotes. They walked in and out of the sugarcane 30 feet or so in front or behind us. The dogs ignored them and the coyotes ignored the dogs. When I moved to 50 miles north, near Opelousas Louisiana, for a few years I shredded the 40 acres that was previously sweet potatoes. As I would shred there was a coyote pair that would trot 25 feet next to me, alongside my tractor and snatch up rodents. At one time a Coopers hawk would fly over the top, competing with the coyotes. Back then I waited until the ground birds finished their first nesting and would shred in a checker board fashion, leaving at least half the pastures unmowed.
One of my favorite Rogan interviews ever! I just ordered two of Flores's audiobooks and will be watching Randall Carlson's interview next. Fascinating stuff!
Man dogs are the sweetest creatures on earth they are one of the many examples of a perfect specimen you just have too teach and guide them like a child
