i work with a humanitarian NGO in Norway. I have colleagues from Gaza. They have worked tirelessly every day helping save the lives of children in countries all over the world while their home country, their friends, their families have been subjected to genocide. Every single day they go the extra mile to ensure life saving aid to kids in Ukraine, Congo, everywhere. All while barely anyone does anything to challenge Israel.

The title wasn't clickbait, that trailer had me in tears. Everything that's happened in the last year has shined a light on the stupid, monstrous and broken dynamics that are driving our politics and society. Every day feels surreal.

No matter how many times I hear Hind’s tiny, sweet voice, a swell of desperate sadness turns to blind rage: for the people who did this, for those who allowed it, cheered it, ignored it, turned away from it or simply felt nothing. I hold no illusions for real justice, but I hope they are eventually consumed by shame, if indeed they are capable of any.
