I learned about hydrogen fuel cells and bullet trains in high school and was so optimistic about technological advances that I swore that my first car would be a hydrogen fuel cell car. Cue my utter disappointment that I was stuck with a gas-powered car and no bullet train to take me to college. That was the point that got me into politics because politics is the reason why the USA has been and still is without reliable public transportation in all of its cities because so much lobbying was put into car-centric infrastructure that serves to suck up so much funding but provide no return on investment.

48:12 "I need to be able to know that there is a mountain that is not going to scare me." This is the exact energy I'm trying to bring to 2025, and Mark phrased it so much better than I ever could.

The editors of this episodes footage snuck in a spooky person behind Mark as he was going on about the 4th Member.

I just want to say, I didn't know that Mark had these conversations with Wade when in the early days of the channel. I'm so happy that they happened and that Wade just supported his friend. Seeing friends support one another like this just makes me feel good.

Between this and the Oublee fruit protein powder, Mark buys a lot of stuff that could easily be confused for drugs.

I love that they roast Wade for acting poor when literally that statement and the running joke of Mark’s poor childhood is literally my daily life 😂 it’s splits me in half. I absolutely love this podcast. Through good and bad these boys have always brought a good bit of laughter

I think this is the only time I’ve heard Bob say ‘Wade and Mark’ in that order
