I didn’t think it was possible to make George Bush look like a master of subtlety.

Everyone's talking about the oil part of the Venezuela war, but nobody's talking about how weird the LAND part of this is. What LAND did Venezuela steal from us? What?

So funny that there were literally posts from people saying “the Epstein files are supposed to come out Friday. I can’t wait to hear what country we invade on Thursday!” And Trump drops the “Venezuela stole our oil” gimmick almost exactly on time.

The idea of the US demanding another country return oil or land is fucking hilarious

It took less than a year to go from “No more wars” to another war for oil, at this point I’m not even surprised.

I work for package shipping company, and usually during October through January is “peak season” (obviously cause of the holiday). This peak has been VERY light. Preloading in the mornings is getting done hours sooner than usual and people are sent home early cause there isn’t enough work to justify the amount of employees. We used to go in at midnight and during COVID, started at 10:30pm the night before. And this peak season, the trucks are filled with their regular amount of packages, no extra heavy trucks. For example, a normal peak dY you can get 50,000 packages a day in the warehouse, the most we had this peak was around 36,000. Also management usually is being preloaders to go on the road and help the drivers, this year they are telling us “we’re good on helpers.” If that isn’t a clear sign the every day person and nation as a whole is struggling economically, idk what else could be.

People who say "God's role for me" always make my skin crawl.

The economy f*cking sucks right now. My parents just had to pay for termite treatments on the house. My mom had breast cancer this year and is still paying off the medical bills. Then my mom had cataracts and got those fixed. Still paying that off. I have been trying to get a job with my degree that I earned in 2023, and still can't find a f-ing job because they want 3-5 years of experience. I want to help out my parents by not being a burden, but I literally can't afford to move out. I turn 30 next year. I have so many other friends who are with their parents as well because this economy sucks.
