Our government is just so corrupt and completely broken almost beyond repair.
The White House Correspondents Dinner could not be held in a government building. It’s independent press. The president is a guest. 😊
The ballroom was always going to be funded with public money.

Seems to me former presidents knew there is a bunker for safety. Maybe the ballroom should step aside to healthcare and helping the people they took an oath for

We can’t afford child daycare or food for poor people or healthcare but they can always find money for a war of choice or an unwanted ballroom that very few people will actually get to see.
