In 40 plus years of grooming, showing, loving and devoting my life to dogs, I've lost all Giant Schnauzers to cancer, except one. She actually died of old age. I'm currently in my 2nd year of chemo fighting aggressive adenocarcinoma colon cancer..

i grew up as a cat person, my husband wanted a dog, so we got a ten year old rescue, when he died 6 years later my husband did not want another dog. too much work, guess who did all the work :-). i wanted another dog and i will for the rest of my days, i am a dog person now and will do all ican to give old, tall, black rescues a home, cause they deserve love too. i am convinced my first dog cured me of my depression i suffered from for more than 30 years. dogs are just awesome and deserve all our love!

AGHH, was trying to say the dog might have known which cup the treat was placed under due to superior olfactory senses.

The dog might’ve known which cut the tree was placed under because of his sense of smell?!

We had a Yellow Lab named Avery. Best Dog Ever. He was the most Sensitive Dog I’ve ever known. He always knew when people were sad. He would use our thick Velour hanging floor length Curtains as a blanket to cover himself up every night. Just a very kind, sweet Dog who always knew how to cheer us up if we needed extra ❤.
