The author left out the important fact that SBF was gambling with his depositors money, and he lost their money.

Sadly, the rewards for corporate crime generally outweigh the risks under current corporate law. This guy is rare, in that he will likely spend some years in jail. But a soft, cushy jail, with tennis, a gym, puppy dogs to play with, etc. And when he gets out, he will have a billion dollars stashed and waiting. CONGRESS NEEDS TO STOP THIS SYSTEM!

When ftx was paying all these ppl for endorsements and services, who was looking at those contracts and cutting checks? Were there no attorneys involved at all? This seems like the most obvious grift and incompetence of all time. And no one saw any red flags? This is so amazing (but predictable) given the players..

Blaming a 'run on the bank' for FTX's collapse shows a lack of understanding of what happened here - FTX was not a bank. From what I understand, FTX spend more money than they earned and was not profitable - it used customer- and investments funds as revenue.

(2023) It's amazing that there are still people that they are so much smarter than everyone that they will try to con the world. When the con works its even more amazing. This country will always be in big trouble, there too much money to take & we the people just can't watch it all.

This man seems to be the best attorney general. This country has ever had. He is empathetic, and seems to truly care about people which is rare these days.
