Is this really the world we want to live in? How many hiring managers had to start a business in order to get a job? Itβs one thing to start a business because you believe in an idea, but just to get a job? I feel for the kids coming of college. This is a completely unfair market.
Iβm an optimist in the industry, but this isnβt exactly true. Even if you get the interviews, the requirements have risen for everyone. Even with the best impact resume, you have to have the perfect 5-8 interviews to land the offer. Employers nowadays can expect perfection because there is a lot of people looking, and the candidates are no longer in a position of power.
I saw your tweet the other day about how juniors today need to become senior ASAP. Can you do a video on why and how? I am an employed mid level engineer looking to senior.
Good luck out there guys.
Great advice and ideas, Iβll give him that, but this takes a lot more time and effort than heβs giving credit to. People have a lot more going on in their lives than just work. Regardless, I still appreciate the content.

This is gold!
My boi said. You need money to create your own experience when youβre trying to get money to get experience.
In general I think there's some great advice there. One thing though is not trying to do all at once. Trying to learn a tech in depth AND trying to build a business with marketing, customer support, etc. at the same time will leave you stretched thin.
