I’m more concerned with the security risks…. Imagine being in court one day because there is a “video” of you doing something that never happened.
You can’t put Pandora back in the box. It’s both fascinating and frightening.
One thing for sure, YOUTUBE is about to get a whole lot busier with people uploading their creations, and TIK TOK is about to get very weird
So thankful I decided to become a massage therapist and esthetician. It’s going to take some time for AI to take my job 😕
Machine Learning Engineer here(3D Computer vision). Sora is able to do this because rather than training totally on videos, they included a mix of 3d space from Unreal Engine5, which is why it's also physically accurate.. UE5 has had generative AI functionality for the past year now, Sora took it a step further by using this to create videos that were learned in 3D space. :). Another reason is that they have more hardware to be able to do this as game engines are pretty hardware-intensive. That's why Sam A. is trying to raise $7 Trillion for AI Chips.
Imagine pasting a book into one of these things and a movie comes out of the book
Paradigm shift unlike anything we have ever seen. WE are not ready.
Think beyond entertainment. Think architecture and engineering, design in general is going to become extremely accessible and competitive
I think everyone should be forcing governments to prepare for Universal Basic Income
