Hey Wes! I’ve kept up with your channel since early 2024, and I gotta say, I kind of like this minimalist wall better than the green screen, which at times has been a little rough & distracting. Maybe try masking a simple circle “cutout” of your webcam feed to overlay the main content. It might work better with less processing!
This looks so much more professional without the green screen
Green screen died so that weirdly appealing gray wall could live.
Terence Tao is absolutely not lying or daydreaming. AI will advance very fast in math, coding, and likely science as well, even though it is still at a relatively early stage. But one factor people rarely mention is saturation: AI can go very far, yet as chess has already shown after AlphaZero, progress eventually slows and becomes more incremental. So I do not see this as a black-and-white matter, but as a grey zone that will likely lean in AI’s favor.
No surprise Sora was gone. Had metaverse 2.0 vibes all over it.
i think it looks good without the green screen
Sir, you don’t need a green screen. To be honest, it’s actually better this way. Thank you for your feedback and for releasing the video so quickly.
Now Anthropic is also coming around with a bigger hitter than Opus. So both of them are cooking something massive.
I work as a quant software engineer in rust and can categorically confirm that progress is 10x faster thanks to LLMs and solid harnesses. Right now, Claude Code is my go to.
I’ve been a freelance software developer for 30 years, although interestingly I haven’t actually written any code for the past 12 months. It’s a good reminder that a lot of software work is really about judgement, structure, and problem-solving, not just the coding itself.
