oh the enthusiasm in the joke of the day always makes it pop 😂
Thank you. I think we are on the same wavelength or cut from the same cloth. ☮️💟🎶☯️♍️~bec🕉️
Great content. Thank you. I love the AI slop piece best. Point on.
59:03 the paradox of absurdism resolves when Sisyphus realizes that he’s only condemned to a meaningless life for as long as he believes in the external Gods. With that awareness, he realizes he can make his own choices rather than listening to an old man tell him what to do. Imagine if he used his life to build “beaver dams” that collected rainwater storms and stopped the massive floods that wipe away our children. In doing so the water sinks into the soil and reduces desertification and wildfires while growing more foods… and he inspires others to do the same. Just carry a boulder from time to time and place it so that it serves others. All of a sudden, human life has a purpose: to care for this reality with the awareness that despite our egotistical belief that I am separate from that, that separate self is illusory and the source of paradox.
Feel the same way about absurdism, it became one of my frustrations that I can't seem to figure out which religion or theory of the world to follow. And then albert camu's theory just felt right and close to home. In my opinon by itself it might not be enough, because it sort of leaves you in a "now what" position, and that's where other philosophies come in place.
Such a satisfying conversation. Link to the video you spoke of in the beginning on making a decision...thx!
Many are intelligent. Few are wise. Fewer are wise beyond their years. To be intuitive.
Yeah. Noble work that's it!!!! So thanks to you both and everyone doing the good work.
Soo glad to watch this.
44:26 Thank you both for your content. When we think about being good at basketball, we can also become aware that “teamwork” has the Jungian shadow of “us vs them”. Teaching warfare and competition rather than unifying two teams toward common goals. At a certain point of self awareness, the line that separates self from other begins to dissolve… and we see that the advice to “go get seduced” is the same as telling someone to “go get abused”. Awareness arises of the conditioned response that one of those two suggestions are less good than the other.
