No Greek was harmed in the making of this film..
Mel Gibson needs to redo the whole thing with Greeks in Greek.

People need to realise this is Nolans take on the story, its not meant to be 100% faithful to the source but a reimagined version instead. Once you get over that you’ll see its peak cinema.
I think that casting too many familiar faces is the major flaw of this movie. It just diminishes the mythical sensation of the original story.

It is weird that Odysseus time traveled and stole a Viking longship instead of a sailing a Greek galley 😂

14:22 your also wrong about this scene playing out in the movie - in the film, Odysseus and his men hide away inside the horse without Sinin realising, leaving him at the mercy of the greeks when they find him. This was changed to play a more crucial role in Odysseus’s greif and the shame he feels for what he has done even before the sack of Troy. It also helps to provide a more satisfying end to Sinon’s role in the story when Odysseus confronts Antinous in the final battle with the suitors
