About a quarter of Americans "use" twitter. And my favorite stat is 10% of users create 90% of the traffic. If twitter plays a big role in your day to day life you need to get out more.

I mean, forming a committee and getting all the info in front of me before I make a huge decision seems like a pretty sensible way to do what he's trying to do. Does this stuff have to happen day 1? No. He owns it, as you say, it's his problem to manage it.

My sense is this committee is a temporary measure to make a near term improvement before making more significant changes later. It’s been 3 days, I’m not sure why people are expecting massive changes so quickly.
