Where is the anti-war movement? They moved to the right or are being wrongfully labeled right wing

Yeah the more hawkish stance is rather concerning. I think too many people are seeing it as a romanticized conflict of righteousness instead of human lives. Similar to the notion of civil war in the US, they see it from a distanced perspective of righteousness vs unrighteousness, not human corpses scattered in patches along the street like roadkill or extreme disruption to things like being able to get food.

I'm concerned that I haven't heard an antiwar song on the radio in years.

I live in the "global south". After 9-11, there was a huge amount of sympathy for the USA. However, after the Iraq invasion, that good will was squandored. In the case of Ukraine, our starting point was shared blame for the war. Which, I thought, given our standing in the world, was pretty good. However, we are on trajectory to be seen as the complete bad guy with anti-USA sentiment at a record high. Our government does no good for ourselves, and makes others hate us.

Maybe everyone is too distracted, unfortunately, on just keeping afloat during these crazy times.

Maybe people are so distracted about other concerns. I'm sure there are a lot of people are saying bring it on! Let's get this part over with and see where the chips lay when the dust clears.
