I’m 35—not a dad—but lifting has been the single biggest game-changer in my life. It blows my mind how many people in their 30s or 40s throw in the towel and say things like, “You’re not in your 20s anymore!” or “It’s all downhill from here.” That mindset is just an excuse. Way too many people sacrifice their health for work and end up looking and feeling like melted candles. Prioritize yourself—it's not too late. I really hope that in the future, as AI takes more and more jobs, we prioritize (give more time) to health and activities that are good for the body and the mind, instead of prioritizing grind culture. I really don't understand why our value system has to be completely oriented around devoting everything to work. I want a Star Trek future.
I belive the politically correct term for dadbod is father figure
Bryan, PLEASE keep doing these podcasts. Everything You've discussed on the pod so far has been extremely se insightful. I've been loving listening to these while at work. It really helps the time go by faster (ironic because that's almost what we're trying to avoid with blueprint, lol) and it makes my day far more enjoyable. Thanks for all that you do for human existence.
I do appreciate the maturity of the talk. I wish it will set an example for influencers, that it's not about choosing a camp, that it's not about who is 100% right and who is not, but to acknowledge that there may be different ways, and for everyone to be consistent within their approach, as the Blueprint team is. In the end, we are all doing the best we can with what we have, and attacking anyone to be the one who is "right" is just a waste of energy. Whether I follow or not Blueprint protocol, I am grateful for the consistency, humility and open-mind that I enjoy watching here.
Could you please add chapters into your Podcast. Sometimes i dont have time to watch the whole podcast but would still like to hear some stuff i find interesting.
I am a woman on the blueprint stack, perimenopause rounding 50. I monitor bone density with a scan. It has increased over the past year. I strength train weight bearing and changed jobs to one that keeps me moving all day. These are such thoughtful discussions, addressing both womens and mens needs. Thanks to you all for doing yhese podcasts!
