The notion that pretti was resisting is fucking appalling. They were beating the fuck out of him; is the expectation that he lay there Christlike while being beaten with boots, chemicals, fists, and canisters, fighting to breathe thru the faceful of chemical irritant? FFS.

We weren’t allowed to cover our faces in Afghanistan. Where actual terrorist organizations could see us. This excuse for safety is absolutely laughable

What’s disturbing is, the guy who shot Renee had been an ICE agent for TEN years. One of the men who shot Alex had been a CBP agent for SIX years. They were experienced! This is the culture of those agencies. Violence, brutality, intimidation, bullying etc. ICE and CBP needs to be totally dismantled and replaced with something a hell of a lot better put in its place!

He chose to leave the sidewalk? WoW that is f****d up that a cop thinks it's a problem for a person to leave the sidewalk. Unreal.

I am a county prosecutor in a very large city. I prosecute felonies from murder to rape to robbery all the way down to a simple possession. I am telling you, the cops in the trump group who talk about the “totality of the circumstances” interpret those legal standards without law degrees and they are out of their fucking minds. if they think that under the totality of the circumstances, a man whose gun had been removed from him with a half dozen officers around him being shot over and over again put them in reasonable (REASONABLE!!!!!!) apprehension of imminent bodily harm???? They are out of their minds and I would do everything in my power to put them in prison. Also, for the officer who talked about Renee goods murderers prior trauma, that’s not what the law is!!!! You have to be REASONABLY afraid of harm. Not subjectively reasonable, but OBJECTIVELY REASONABLE. Would an objectively reasonable person with the training he had done what he did? If any cop in my county did what either of these murderers did, we would be at the grand jury in a matter of hours and I would bet every penny I have that the grand jury would give me true bill for Open Murder with Use of a Deadly Weapon

Regarding the female cop who tried to justify the shooting by saying Alex Pretti was still a threat because there may have been a second gun - she is ignoring the rest of the situation. He was on his knees, both of his hands were pinned down and he had 3-4 guys on top of him. In no way was he in a position to shoot them. And the agent who shot him in the back fired into him several more times after it was already clear Alex was incapacitated.

Their boss wanted to shoot protesters in the legs. Of course they are being told to do whatever they think is necessary. When your leader is an idiot this happens.

She turned her wheel AWAY from the officer and was trying to leave the scene. He shot her in the face because she failed to recognize his authority! Period point blank!

Meanwhile every other democracy on the planet is saying we have lost our minds to even debate this-cops here shoot too often, specifically to KILL, and this poor guy got shot TEN times for exercising his first amendment rights-this wouldn't even be a debate in a normal country. But here? Gee, maybe the "officer"was scared so pumped TEN bullets into the guy. This country is SO fucked up
