Description

JVL, Sarah Longwell, and Tim Miller relish Trump’s losing streak—from +6 approval to –14—and why slipping GOP support could signal a Bush-style collapse. They also get into inflation backlash, the White House’s “Don’t Be a Panican” spin, and the early cracks forming inside MAGA. Is this the start of a 2006-level wave? I have a friend that did taxes, she worked for a major tax firm, and she could not believe how many families were living on $24-$30,000 dollars a year between three and four people. If you make 150,000 and you lose $1000 you’ll notice it. If you’re making 24,000, and you lose $1000 a year, you have to make some very hard choices.

Btw - the bridge Trump is threatening to prevent from opening was 100% paid for by Canada

37% approval after everything he's done does not sound like a crash out, it sounds like a failed society.

Tourism is losing billions and that money is lost because people travelled somewhere else and have no interest in coming back.

I am helping out a single Mom with 2 kids in SoCal. She has no car ( its broken), her child carer had to move, so no job. I help her with groceries, warm clothing, toys, school, art & craft supplies, books, and this month, covered 70$ for her rent, so she would not get evicted. She lives on a terrifying edge EVERY. DAMN. DAY. As do MILLIONS. Daily. 1000.00 is not even in her computation right now. Her life, her children's lives, are in the balance. If you guys dont think a 1000 is a big deal...you are not living down here on the ground. Hell, my own family lives on a salary above 200Gs. We take home less than half. An unexpected 1000 would have to go on a credit card. People are in danger out here. For REAL.

I’m shocked the approval is over 5%. This country is truly sick and deranged.
