Description

Hayden Field of The Verge joins Andrew Egger to discuss the Pentagon’s fight with Anthropic and what it means for the future of AI. "Any lawful use" means nothing when you ignore existing law, do whatever you feel, then drag things out through the court system until the Supreme Court tells you no...then you do it again anyway.

Kegsbreath's feud with Anthropic was a gift to the American people. We now know something we probably weren't supposed to know--it was in writing to use AI to track and kill Americans autonomously.

You know we're in serious trouble when an AI corporation exercises more caution and concern for the public interest than the government that is supposed to regulate them.

Hegseth has no moral compass. We are less safe, if Hegseth gets more power.
