I think it is congresses fault for not stopping all of this destruction in all areas

I anticipated a significant foodborne illness when all these cuts occured. It takes skilled, trained people to inspect food, and track down the source of a foodborne outbreak.
A well-functioning public health is invisible for the most part. This gives people like politicians the idea that these institutions are not doing anything which leads to budget cuts. When a health crises inevitably happens public health workers are hung out to dry leading to more cuts.
I DO NOT believe it was a false positive. That only happened after a rep from Taylor Farms went to the trump admin and asked them to intervene.
The owner of the company that was implicated in the Cyclosporiasis outbreak went to the White House this week & then low & behold it was all a big mistake they weren’t the epicenter of the outbreak. He’s also given Trump almost $3 million dollars.
