A friend of mine was killed in Iraq in 2004. I think of him all the time, especially since this war started, and even more since yesterday. Because I can’t help but think of that pilot possibly in Iran in the context of a president who’s been clear about what he thinks about people who get captured. And I’m incensed anew people in this country were so irresponsible to put so many lives in the hands of such a man. A lot of us are not okay.
