Alex has never been more excited to meet every single person lmao
What happened to her in 2021 was horrible, and she came out of that with such grace and confidence. Listening to her talk is an absolute pleasure.
i loved this interview. they were vibing, no one stepping on toes, very organic convo between them. both spoke so eloquently
ill be honest ive watched little to none of her work but i like the way her brain works
My mom was both, traditional at home Mom, (1980’s), but she also didn’t just put her head down & be walked on. She ruled the roost. She delegated work. Us kids did EVERYTHING. Dishes, cooking, diaper changing, laundry. We did her laundry. She verbally kept my Dad in check, he was a smart quiet strong lawyer, & she was a “red personality” strong opinionated woman. She ran that house like the military, but that kept the place clean & gave us time to hang out & watch movies on the VCR & laugh a lot. She ran a social house, parties & teens hanging out all the time. Everybody loved her. So she was traditional, & kicked-A all day. She was Super-Woman. She also ran the money. Dad gave his paycheck to her. She liked fancy clothes & Mercedes.
Brilliant interview, Olivia has been a major part of my upbringing, without the character of Alex in the OC I wouldn’t have been able to figure myself out and if it’s any consolation Don’t Worry Darling is a fantastic film, the suffocation of it all, it hit me in ways I wasn’t expecting. It certainly woke me up. Bravo to you both, loved Alex’s enthusiasm and empathy! 💗
I love Oliva Wilde in House MD. Such a great dynamic character
So random but back over a decade ago Olivia wrote a column about turning 30 in Glamour magazine. I didn't watch any of those shows but that article connected with me and I sent it to many people as we turned 30. Cheers!
Big thumbs up to the host for not interrupting the guest! If see this message 👍
