I shouldn't even be writing this because it goes against everything we're taught about "being a good person," but I can't stay silent anymore. Four months ago, I was trapped in that beta mindset where I thought hard work and integrity would eventually pay off, while watching ruthless people take everything I'd earned. Then I discovered 22 Dark Truths of Winning, and it was like finding the cheat codes that powerful people use but never admit. The author can't reveal his identity because these courtroom and boardroom secrets would destroy his legal career, but he was tired of watching good men get eaten alive. The psychological tactics inside are so precise, so devastatingly effective, they feel almost illegal. I've stopped trying to win arguments and started controlling outcomes. Stopped chasing respect and started commanding it. This book will make you uncomfortable - it should. Because once you see how the real game is played, you can never go back to being the nice guy who finishes last. Every man who's done being walked on needs this wake-up call.
No way! I’ve been a fan of Scott for quite some time. Good to see him on there
The Viktor Frankl quote got me. I've lost my purpose and I've been trying to find it for so long. Day in day out going through the motions just to have each day pass by faster and faster. I feel like I'm running out of time and I end up paralyzed. My defense mechanism is act like my problems don't exist and then I feel temporary relief until the next time my mind reminds of everything all over again.
"Working for no paycheck". My god, that is the best description of depression I have ever heard. I feel that way every single day.
Scott’s channel is really helpful. I think because he’s struggled with his own mental health I feel like he gets it.

It’s so refreshing to watch a podcast where practical solutions are given and not just 2 hours discussing the problem. Not trying to sell a book, program or product. This was reallly good!
Dr. Eilers understands how to talk to people because he is actually one of those people (self included). I've fought Anhedonia for years, and still fighting. Just listening to his words have get me thru a lot of long, long days.
This guy talks soooo much sense. I have never heard this subject explained so clearly. Hats off to you Dr Scott!
This convo was incredibly helpful. I feel like humanity accepts a widespread, low level of depression. I can’t tell you how many people in my life have trouble feeling joy.
