The most powerful influence is not learning how to control people. It’s learning how to recognize when your own mind is being steered.
Thank you for not doing the dramatic long cinematic preview intro. Those intros have gotten out of hand these days.
I clicked on this so fast! Love Chase.
It’s interesting how it can feel like people are operating in two completely different realities. On one side, there’s the image someone has built of themselves, and underneath that, there’s insecurity about not being truly seen. But then when someone actually comes in and says, ‘I see through the surface, I want to know the real you,’ it can trigger fear instead of relief. That’s where it gets complicated—because being seen for who you really are can be uncomfortable. It requires responsibility, honesty, and vulnerability. And not everyone is ready for that. But there’s also a contradiction in wanting deep connection while rejecting the very moments where real connection is possible. You can’t feel unseen in the world and then push away the people who are genuinely trying to understand you. At some point, you have to choose whether you’re willing to be known or stay behind the version you’ve created. And I think that’s one of the biggest problems people are dealing with right now: the gap between how they present themselves and how willing they are to actually be seen as they are. That tension creates a lot of loneliness, misunderstanding, and distance in relationships.

There's something pretentious about some of the guests that come on but what's so great about Chase is that he comes off as natural, informative, and humbly knowledgeable.
Chase Hughes is one of the biggest influences on me. The way he speaks and breaks down human behavior and communication in a gift, and if you follow his instructions, you will be in the top 0.001% of communicators. Language is subconscious in deeper ways than anyone can ever realize.
"Where I'm speaking _from,_ that's who I'm speaking _to_ in the other person. That's what vibrates or resonates in the other person." _That's deep._ That's why I spot the phonyness in politicians and superficial people nearly automatically.
When Chase is in the house , i'm grabing the chair bro
This process, he is speaking out about, reminds me of the conditions under which the patriot act was passed, and the conditions under which we agreed to begin the Afghanistan and Iraqi forever wars. What a thorny bush we grabbed onto while falling emotionally during that national crisis.
