I’m a Cajun from Deep South Louisiana and I can positively say that Channings accent is absolutely spot on.
They’re hating on Tatum but they don’t know how long he’s been waiting for this 😂
Rob Delaney, the guy who played Peter lost his 2.5 year old son in 2018, so as I understand it Reynolds decided to make Peter a goddam legend in the movie. At the end of the credits is the line “For Henry Delaney” as a tribute.
It wasn't Justin Timberlake. It was a dancer named Nick Pauley that did the Bye bye bye dance.
The first time Deadpool being silent after Wolverine roasted him in the car is such a strong and awesome acting moment.
In the middle of this silly (and awesome) Deadpool movie, Hugh Jackman is giving an acting masterclass. Every time he’s onscreen everything is elevated by his presence.
That’s exactly how Gambit is supposed to sounds like. Btw. That’s the most accurate voice Gambit has ever been portrayed. He’s Cajun and so is Channing. This IS Exactly the Gambit we wanted actually.
That "Bye Bye Bye "Song was specifically used as a joke call back to when Logan in the 2nd Xmen Film got in the car with The young Xmen and that song was playing and Logan Cringes.
Believe or not, Channing's accent really is pretty close to perfect Cajun
Fun fact about Chris Evan's rant is that Reynolds offered to give him cue cards for the scene, but he went into that scene memorized all his lines.
