Description

Jaby, Achara, Alli, and Michael react to Michael (2026), the musical biopic that follows the life, career, and legacy of Michael Jackson, tracing his journey from child star in the Jackson 5 to becoming one of the most influential entertainers in music history. Featuring recreations of iconic performances, career-defining moments, and the challenges that accompanied unprecedented global fame, the film explores the man behind the music while celebrating the artistry that changed pop culture forever. This reaction stands out as all four reactors experience the music, performances, and emotional highs and lows of Michael Jackson’s story together in real time. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer, Training Day, The Magnificent Seven, Southpaw, Olympus Has Fallen), and written by John Logan (Gladiator, Skyfall, The Aviator, Hugo, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street), the film stars Jaafar Jackson (Michael Jackson family legacy, music performances, dance performances, biographical drama, entertainment career), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing, Euphoria, Fear the Walking Dead, Rustin, The Color Purple), Nia Long (Boyz n the Hood, The Best Man, Love Jones, Big Momma’s House, Soul Food), Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick, Whiplash, Fantastic Four, War Dogs, The Spectacular Now), Laura Harrier (Spider-Man: Homecoming, BlacKkKlansman, Hollywood, White Men Can’t Jump, The Starling Girl), and Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries, All Eyez on Me, Honey 2, Operation Christmas Drop, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), bringing together a cast tied to major blockbusters, acclaimed dramas, and one of the most influential musical legacies of all time. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch! Guys Joseph would NOT allow his children to call him Dad/Father/Pop/ or anything like that. He demanded they call him Joseph.

Someone said that Michael had been working 45 years out of his 50 years of life and it's just so crazy to think about

FUN FACT: When Michael Jackson died Prince locked himself in his room for 3 days and canceled his rehearsals. Also Tavis Smiley an interviewer says Prince invited him to interview him and he and Prince sat outside and Prince talked about Michael for HOURS going over memories 🥹💜💜💜

Yall must of talked over the part where Joseph called Michael "Big nose" as a little kid". This was a very toned down version of how Joe was. He's the reason why a majority of the family got their noses done. Michael's body dysmorphia didn't start when he blew up, he insecurities started way earlier because of Joe.....

There is a difference between being disciplined and being abused. You can learn and grow without being traumatized. An example is when the producer was trying to teach Michael. You can see how excited he was to learn before Joseph takes him away. He also hugged the producer for being kind. Michael had the hunger to learn and the talent. I have no doubt that if he chose being a musician all on his own he would still be destined to be a star. Perhaps without Joseph in his head, Michael could have felt more confident and realize just how amazing he was.

The nose surgery wasn’t just MJ disliking something about his face. It’s known that he was mocked for having a big nose, including by his own father who had internalised racism. For someone like MJ who’s also been taught to be a perfectionist, it makes sense that he’d then want to rid himself of this insecurity.
