13:00 THEY'RE MINERALS
Gale had the lab notes at home because he was under pressure to learn Walt's formula asap.
Why minerals? It connects Hank and Walt. Walt uses chemistry to build a criminal empire. Hank turns to geology during his recovery. Minerals are formed under immense heat and pressure, changing their molecular structure until they become something incredibly hard and crystalline. This directly mirrors what is happening to the characters. Hank is under intense pressure, hardening his resolve to get back on his feet and find Heisenberg. Walt is under pressure, crystallizing into the ruthless Heisenberg.
Box Cutter is one of my favorite episodes 💐 Giancarlo is masterful in that scene, acting in silence while Walt does all the talking
That scene in the episode "Box Cutter" should have earned Giancarlo Esposito the Emmy! HE WAS ROBBED!
Clicked on this so fast, the meth hasn’t crystallized yet.
Victor failed to protect Gale, got witnessed at a crime scene, and tipped Gus' hand that he was the new backup chemist. Also notice that Mike pointed his gun at Gus too.
They live in New Mexico, not Arizona We’re in season 4 guys
43:54 Um, you seem to have forgotten that he didn't just See someone get hurt in front of him, HE HURT SOMEONE, an Innocent man!! That's why Jesse's so torn up.
Guys they’re not rocks, they’re minerals!
