Description

Jaby and Achara watch the terrifying new series based on the popular It franchise by Stephen King! It: Welcome to Derry is a chilling prequel series set in 1962 Derry, Maine, where a couple’s arrival coincides with the disappearance of a local boy—and the sinister force known as Pennywise begins its ancient cycle of terror. It: Welcome to Derry was developed by Andy Muschietti (It, It Chapter Two, Mama) and Barbara Muschietti (It, It Chapter Two, The Flash). The series stars Taylour Paige (Zola, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Boogie) as Charlotte, Jovan Adepo (Watchmen, Fences, Babylon) as young Bill Denbrough, and Chris Chalk (Perry Mason, Gotham, Detroit) as Ricky. Joining the ensemble are Madeleine Stowe (Revenge, The Last of the Mohicans, 12 Monkeys), James Remar (Dexter, The Warriors, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), and Stephen Rider (Daredevil, The Butler, The Legend of Tarzan). Bill Skarsgård (It, Barbarian, John Wick: Chapter 4) reprises his iconic role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, linking the series to the feature films and expanding the chilling mythology of Derry, Maine. On the bright side, Rich is actually resting in peace instead of floating forever with IT

Bob Gray/OG Pennywise is NOT “IT”. “IT” killed him and shapeshifts as Pennywise to lure kids. How is this so hard to understand?

I feel like you still doesn't understand the whole Pennywise situation, which is kinda wild to me. IT didn't possess him. IT is an entity that takes on forms. IT took the form of a kid and lured him into the forrest, ate him and took his form. It's not like it's the same body.

I'm so glad they didn't just brush past Rich's death. They let you feel what they feel and it hits hard in a beautifully sad way. This is why some stories need to be mini series instead of rushed movies.

It wasn’t just Rich’s death it was the entire scene. For some of us it actually hits kinda close to home. Hard watching a reenactment of things that actually happened to people. The fact they didn’t care there was kids in there lets you know what extremists really feel😢😢😢
