I know we still have Aunt Bam’s play to get through but it really feels like the End of an Era for the Madea franchise on this channel

Fun Fact: Tamela Mann (Cora)'s grandkids got into a car accident and the car was totaled 😢 I mean totaled while she was on tour with this play...and they made it out without a scratch...when she got on stage to praise God and worship...she was going all out for a reason

Fun fact……🎉❤The song Cora sung at the end…Take me to the King, is actually her gospel song…powerful song.

When this play toured, it was the FIRST time Brown and Cora were on stage with Madea since 2003 in Madea's Class Reunion. And their 1st time back on stage in general since What's Done In The Dark in 2007

This feels like the end of an era 😢 it all started with Tyler Perry being my introduction to the channel

The Madea’s Homecoming movie was based by this play!

Fun Fact: Madea's Farewell Play is based on the Madea Homecoming film. I feel like this was a bittersweet thing for Madea. Also, LaTia Mann is David and Tamela Mann's daughter. They had 2 reality shows on BET and TV One , one was called "It's a Mann's World" which was on BET and "The Mann's" which was on TV One. This was the first Play that Madea, Brown, and Cora reunited in since Madea's Class Reunion which was supposed to be the final Madea Play before he went into the movies, but the Play that really was supposed to end that era of the Plays for Madea in the early 2000's was Madea Goes To Jail and she was supposed to be retired then because around that time up to the 2010's he did not like to play Madea but he kept doing it for the fans because they love it. AND WE STILL LOVE IT TP! CAN'T WAIT FOR Joe's College Road Trip! ❤❤❤❤❤
