Still waiting sequel for this!!!
I was so disappointed that we never got a sequel to this amazing movie. BUT! Now there is hope. James Cameron said in an interview a couple months ago that he and Robert Rodriguez have “practically made a blood pact to make a sequel to Akita.”
Deserved a sequel!!!!!! I will scream it at the top of my lungs!
This is the best anime adaptation to ever exist, nothing comes close
The director, Robert Rodriguez, makes his own chocolate bars. The one Alita was eating in the movie was one of his.
Criminally underappreciated movie! Alita looks simultaneously like an anime character and an innocent young girl. Hoping against hope for an eventual sequel.
My niece is named after her that's how impactful the movie was to my sibling
He let her go Rollerballing because he finally accepted that Alita isn't a little girl he needs to protect, after she received her new body. He kind of used her as a daughter replacement but learned to see her as Alita, not his dead daughter.
One of the rare manga to screen adaptations that actually looks great. This movie truly deserves a sequel at some point now
Mahershala ali's acting when he gets stabbed is so good. Some of the best I've ever seen. The body shutting down but just calmly speaking. Insane talent.
