It’s crazy to think he send hundreds of people to their slow death for money. What a monster
The coat of arms featured 2 unicorns! 😂😂 He must have chuckled to himself when he came up with that irony.
07:05 so glad we have the internet, thats why there are no more scams
"Gregor MacGregor" is one of THE most scottish names EVER.
Venezuelan here, pretty crazy he ended up landing in venezuela. What a horrible person to send people to their death. Entire families mind you.
Bro is full of plan B 💀🗿😂
"Somehow the judge ruled that he was innocent" no shit, he bribed the judge 😂😂
It’s one thing to scam people out of thousands of pounds selling bonds for a wholly fictitious country, it’s another to _knowingly_ send entire families thousands of miles (with free passage for women and children!) to an undeveloped land to die a slow death from starvation and disease. It’s a real-life 19ᵗʰ horror story. (I’m surprised no one’s made it into a movie but it might just be too horrific.)
An story as old as time. Greed is at its best when exploiting other people’s greed.
