Trump weaponized covid during his first term by denying countries like Venezuela PPE, disaster relief, covid tests, etc. The u.s. pressured the Bank of England to refuse Maduro’s attempts to withdrawal Venezuela’s own money for covid relief! They refused because of the u.s. and the money was held for months while people died and it went through the courts. This was one of the countless ways Trump has had a hand in trying to make quality of life as bad as possible in Venezuela. The sanctions are insane. Venezuela used to be the wealthiest country in South America in the 70s….
