In my mid-70s. This gentleman gives me hope that visionary leaders may be around. Not a religious bone in my body, but I pray that he succeeds.
Mamdani is more coherent and sharp than most politicians even after not eating a single bite of food for seven days.
I'm twice his age and have lived in this city his entire life. I voted for him twice and canvassed for him. The majority of the doors I knocked were FOR Zohran--all races, economic levels, neighborhoods. This is the mayor the people of this city have longed for. I am thrilled that he will be our mayor, and for the first time, hopeful for the future.
How encouraging! Uniting the Pakistani and Indians, and Bangladeshis..uniting Muslims and Jews snd Christians and Jews..it’s all about the common people and their rights, their dignity and needs. I wish all politicians and representatives had this vision.
Let's all come back down to earth. Don't put your faith in politicians. Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do, watch what they accomplish.
I bet Amy Goodman feels good about being able to interview a father and son duo decades apart with very similar messages.
