We are in a second gilded age so . . .
The normalization of violence started with the normalization of torture. To think it wouldn't have societal effects at home... is dumb and evil.
This time it is not the North vs the South, but those that use critical thinking vs those that do not. Sane vs the insane.
The 2nd Amendment is the answer to tyranny. Under Article II Sec 4, Article 14 Sec 3, and The 25th Amendment. We are a Constitutional Democratic Republic and We The People Shall Make It So.
What do you expect if the arsehole in charge blatantly says he will annihilate, blast and bomb another people?
US and it's leaders are violent, it has been permiatting segments of society .
People really need to wake up and start fighting back harder.
Sharlet approaches this from a deeply held position of moral opposition to violence. He must be a great teacher and I'd like to read his book.
It took how many mass shootings for people to realize we normalized violence? Lord.
Our President is killing people, and the media takes no interest.
